At the invitation of the new Omani Ambassador HE Salman Khalid Abdulrahman Ba'Omar and the cultural attaché Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Bandari (Omani Embassy in London), on November 24 the Omani students enrolled in Germany met in the cultural forum of Deutsche Bank Unter den Linden in Berlin.

More than 200 students attended the meeting. This figure happily represents the increasing attractiveness of Germany as a location for Omani studentsto study.

As part of a colorful program the president of the German-Omani Association Bruno Kaiser and board member Juma Al-Maskari awared prizes to the student winners of the 2012 photo contest sponsored by the German-Omani Association.

Mr Muhanna Al-Siyabi was delighted by his first-prize win, with an award of 1000 Euros (1.f.l.). The second prize of 500 Euros went to Mrs Rafia Al-Bahlani (2.f.l.) and third prize in the amount of 250 Euros went to Mr Gaith Al-Balushi.
